Intakes in the UK Universities:

The UK universities and colleges basically offer two intakes. It could be bit confusing for the students to choose the intake that is best for them. Considering the factors such as the availability of preferred program, academic records, entrance test scores, acceptance rates, job opportunities and the readiness to join the program whilst deciding.

  • January intake starts in January or February and
  • September intake is in September or October.

Most students opt for September intake, particularly international students. Since it is the big intake where the seats for most programs are more and chances of getting admit is also high.

While most students prefer the September intake, January intake is equally good for certain programs. It is therefore best suggested that, if you do not have your score cards ready, it’s better to skip the haste and apply for the next intake.
